Within the Authority, the Management plays a vital role as it engages in a set of essential functions that help to serve the authority’s goals and objectives effectively.
The management provides secretarial support to the SENA Board and its various Sub-committees. The division ensures that all information is promptly conveyed to the board members so that the latter can contribute constructively to Board Meetings and discussions. The management then ascertains that Board decisions are implemented through an efficient flow of information to other divisions of the organization.
The management tasks related to SENA staff include various responsibilities to ensure the effective functioning of the organization such as:
1.1 Human Resources Management
- Recruitment and selection of staff members.
- Staff training and development.
- Performance evaluations and appraisals.
- Addressing employee grievances and ensuring a positive work environment.
1.2 Administrative Section
- Overseeing office operations, including record-keeping, scheduling, and communication.
- Managing budgets, finances, and procurement.
- Coordinating meetings, workshops, and events.
1.3 Finance Section
The finance section holds the key to a company’s cash and budgets. Various tasks are done such as managing ledgers, preparing invoices etc. The finance section needs to have a well-defined structure to manage the workflow properly.
