Working session on the proposed Alternative Curriculum prepared by SENA and MIE

Today we had the visit of Professor Steve Sider From Wilfrid Laurier University Canada at our office followed by a working session on the proposed Alternative Curriculum prepared by SENA and MIE as well as the validation of the quality assurance framework SEN. The working sessions was followed by a visit to the mainstream and SENRDC Moka.

Professor Sider is assisting us to put in place the curriculum framework for SEN and shortly would be engaging our teachers into the Applied behavior Analysis (ABA).

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated approach applying principles of learning and motivation to shape behaviours and teach skills to children with ASD.

He would also be conducting a list of seminars with various stakeholders in the education sector
